In college you will meet your friends who will be there for you for life. I don't actually know the date of when i met them all. My #1 here in Utah is actually from Vegas, but we have never met before moving here, her name is Tati. The funny thing about Tati is she actually hated me the first day we met. The guy who moved me in to my dorm was named Brandon and I thought he was so cute but i mentioned this to Tati at breakfast when we met to see if she knew him. The funny part about this whole thing is that Brandon and Tati were kind of together at that point in time, and are not dating. Because of Tati she has introduced me to the people that I am closest too here in college, Brandon, Maddie, Lexi, Alex, Ally, and Lauren (all of us are actually from Vegas except Brandon). These people are the ones I spend most, if not all, of my time with. I love them all so much and hold them so close to my heart.

So this post is a little late because I am just now starting to write about my experiences, but move in day is the first experience of college. My move-in day was hectic to say the least. At first it was crazy to see the room that I will be living in for the next year with someone I have never met, but now looking back, I appreciate that day because it helped me grow as a person and expand my horizons. Moving all my many boxes, stuff, and suitcases up 3 flights of stairs (of course I was on the 3rd floor) was so tiring all I wanted to do was lay in my bed back in Vegas and talk to all my friends, but none of them were here. Moving to college was definitely something a normal person will have to take time getting use to because your family and friends you see everyday are not there. So this picture of my dorm room was not from move-in day, getting my room the exact way i wanted it took over a month. I now consider this spot my home! |
